Cookie & Tracking Notice

A plain-language summary of the cookies and tracking technologies used on this website, why we use them, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 26 August 2026

What this notice covers

This notice applies to the Verativa website (verativa.ai). It explains what cookies and similar technologies are placed on your device when you visit, and what information is shared with third-party services as a result.

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They let a website remember things between pages or between visits. Verativa does not set any cookies of its own — the cookies described below are set by third-party services we use.

Cookies we use

Service Cookie Purpose Duration
Google Analytics _ga Distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count unique visits. 2 years
Google Analytics _ga_7R8Q107CWN Keeps track of a browsing session (which pages were viewed, in what order). 2 years
Google reCAPTCHA _GRECAPTCHA Helps tell people apart from automated bots when the email sign-up form is submitted. 6 months

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited, how long people stay, and roughly where visitors come from. This helps us improve the site. The data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you personally. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.

Google processes this data on our behalf. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)

The "Stay informed" email form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which runs silently in the background to detect automated submissions. reCAPTCHA may collect information about your browser and how you interact with the page, and sets the _GRECAPTCHA cookie. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Other third-party services

  • Google Fonts — the site's typefaces are loaded from Google's servers. No cookies are set, but your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google to fetch the font files.
  • Firebase Hosting (Google) — the site is served by Google's hosting infrastructure, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operational purposes.

What we don't do

  • We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies.
  • We do not sell or share visitor data with anyone for marketing purposes.
  • If you submit your email through the "Stay informed" form, it is used only to contact you as described there.

Your choices

  • Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies, either for all sites or for specific ones. Blocking cookies will not stop the site from working.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics — install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent your visits being recorded on any site that uses Google Analytics.
  • Ad blockers and privacy extensions — many of these block Google Analytics automatically.

Changes to this notice

If we add new tracking tools or change how we use cookies, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
